Flexenclosure today announced the launch of eManager, a fully-integrated cloud-based solution providing a one-stop interface for remote management and energy optimisation of eSite networks.

eManager is used to optimise power for networks of Flexenclosure’s award-winning green power management system eSite. eSite is a single cabinet fully integrated energy system developed for powering both off-grid and bad grid base stations and is capable of delivering up to 90 percent savings on diesel-related operating expenses at telecom sites.

Target sites for eSite with eManager are off-grid and bad grid base station sites. For these types of network, operators’ energy costs can often constitute 40 percent of their total OPEX. Coming as standard with eSite, eManager provides out-of-the-box functionality supporting the operations, engineering, business control and site logistics groups within the customer organisation, and can drive substantial and immediate OPEX cost savings through actively monitoring, analysing and optimising the performance of a single eSite through to an entire network of eSites.

eManager seamlessly works with eSite’s intelligent control system Diriflex to collect and analyse all relevant site data, storing it in a detailed energy data warehouse for benchmarking, trend and historical analysis, as well as real-time monitoring. eManager can then create any combination of standard or customised reports for any geographical region – local to global – identifying key trends and opportunities for further optimisation.

As a cloud based application, customers can simply and securely access eManager via the Internet through a web browser on any standard computer. Alternately, if required, a server can be deployed at the customer’s premises.

“eManager will further improve eSite, which is already by far the best solution on the market for powering off-grid and bad grid base station sites”, said David King, CEO, Flexenclosure. “It will give mobile operators and site owners total control over their installed power solutions making it possible to proactively monitor and manage OPEX-driving activities and costs. This is a comprehensive all-in-one tool that provides the complete picture – available from wherever you are.”

Flexenclosure is a specialist supplier of power management systems and complete data centres for the telecom industry. The company provides systems that are fully integrated, flexible, prefabricated, factory tested for reliability, adaptable to local conditions and quick to install.

eSite is a portfolio of green power solutions for base station sites in unreliable grid or off-grid areas. Powered by renewable energy sources or the grid and a backup genset, eSite can deliver a 90 percent reduction in diesel fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and energy related OPEX compared to traditional diesel based systems. Fully integrated into eSite is eManager, a cloud-based solution providing a one-stop interface for remote management and energy optimisation of eSite networks.

eCentre is a complete, pre-fabricated, modular solution to house and power data and telecom equipment. Optimised for energy efficiency and low TCO, eCentre is specifically designed to be fast to deploy and fully future proof.
